It couldn’t have come at a better time for the communities we serve – a grand final featuring our very own Western Bulldogs! It’s fantastic to have some excitement in the atmosphere across all of our teams and sites, as we head towards the big day.
After an earthquake yesterday and COVID continuing to challenge us, it’s good to be able to take just a few moments to celebrate a grand final spot.
We know that hundreds of Western Health staff, volunteers, patients and members of our community, are avid Bulldogs fans – obvious from the colours many wear around our sites – so it is wonderful to know that Saturday will bring some joy to many homes and wards!
This morning, to celebrate, there were roving Bulldogs fans giving out vouchers and a little food, to bring some light relief for us all – as you can see from the images below.
Earlier today, I heard Chris from EMR predict that there would be a “planned shutdown of the Demons from 7-11pm on Saturday night”! We certainly hope so!.
