A bright watercolour thank you poster from thoughtful kindergarteners has provided a positive boost to theatre staff at Footscray Hospital.
A 4-year-old kinder group known as the Kingfishers from Guardian Childcare Point Cook East painted flowers, hearts, rainbows and happy figures with the message “THANK YOU to our frontline superheroes”.
Olga Learoyd, clinical nurse specialist, said the team was so excited to receive the gorgeous piece.
“It was so beautiful to be recognised by the newest generation for the work healthcare workers do,” Olga said.
The artwork was presented to the team by Dr Wong, Anaesthetist.
Dr Wong said the children are very grateful to all frontliners for their dedication to the communities’ health and safety during this difficult time.
