The Medical Imaging team has been recognised for their collaborative and adaptive response by Jason Heidrich, Chief Radiographer at Footscray Hospital saying it has been an “absolute pleasure” working with all staff at this challenging time.

“I would like to acknowledge and thank the entire Medical Imaging team operating at Footscray, Sunshine and Williamstown due to the collaborative way that staff have responded to not only the COVID-19 pandemic and Medical Imaging specific requirements, but also the way staff have responded to requests from and being adaptive to the requirements and the needs of other areas such as ED, ICU and other ward areas to ensure that a collaborative and uniform response occurs.

“All staff have put their hands up to help out, in particular clinical staff, when available, assisting clerical staff manage outpatient appointments as well as looking at different initiatives which would assist in the workflows involving medical imaging. It has been an absolute pleasure working with all staff during this difficult time in dealing with COVID 19.

“It has been a welcome response from the Medical Imaging team which has allowed us to prepare for the COVID 19 surge when it occurs.”
