Interstate message of support for Paediatric Emergency

September 14, 2020

Interstate hospital colleagues have sent a message of support to the Paediatric Emergency team at Sunshine.

In a card received by Associate Professor David Krieser, Director of Paediatric Emergency Medicine, staff at the Children’s Hospital at Westmead in western Sydney sent their thoughts and prayers to our staff and their loved ones at this challenging time.

“We are proud to call you our peers. If we can be of any assistance please do not hesitate to get in touch,” they wrote.

“Bon courage, from your Paediatric Emergency Colleagues at the Children’s Hospital at Westmead.”

David Krieser shared the card with the team at Sunshine as well as some of the Executive team.

“Their thoughts really made me feel better and so I thought that they may have the same effect on you,” David wrote when he shared the card.

Sometimes it’s the little things that can make a difference to our day! Thank you to the kind and thoughtful Paediatric Emergency team at the Children’s Hospital at Westmead for this lovely gesture.
