Feedback has been rolling in following the distribution of the Exceptional Worker Care packs across our sites in the past week.

Part of this year’s Positive Workplace celebration, the organisational initiative to recognise the hard work, dedication and commitment of staff this year seems to have gone down a real treat.

It’s all about recognising and celebrating the valued staff at Western Health who consistently prove they are exceptional, not just essential.

Nicole Davies, Director of Nursing and Midwifery at Sunbury said the packs were very well received.

“The Sunbury staff have asked me to pass a very big thank you to the executive for the bags of essentials they received this week. They were all so very delighted,” Nicole said.

Joyce Dalde, NUM, Ward 3F  at Sunshine said “Staff absolutely love it!”

Ewa (Ava) Grzesiak, NUM, Day Procedure Unit at Footscray sent a thank you email.

“On behalf of DPU staff I would like to thank you for the lovely presents. These gifts provided staff with smiles and feeling of appreciation,” Ewa said.

Marlene Officer from 3B said “Thank you so much for the generous gifts. Our team are very grateful for this gracious gift.”

The little treats and essentials to get you through your demanding work days were provided by the organisation as well as corporate organisations who generously donated the skincare items.
