As promised, we’re getting back to you with details of pops up for staff boosters at Western Health sites this week. See below for more information.
Booster shots for staff
Our Outreach Vaccination Team have organised pop ups at the following sites this week:
- Footscray Hospital, Mavis Mitchell Seminar Room, Wednesday from 9am-4pm
- Williamstown Hospital, Education Room – level 1, Thursday 9am-4pm
- Sunbury Hospital, clinics – ground floor, Friday 11am-2pm.
Staff can also walk in to any of our vaccination hubs at Melbourne Showgrounds, Sunshine Hospital, Melton and Wyndham Eagle Stadium.
If you would prefer to make an appointment for your booster dose at a Western Health fixed site, the details can be found here.
All those eligible can also make an appointment for a booster dose through the Victorian Coronavirus Hotline on 1800 675 398.
Staff will need to be able to show evidence of the date of second vaccination dose (via either MyGov or a Medicare Vaccination Record) if it was administered at a general practitioner or pharmacy. We will have a record of dose dates for any vaccine administered in a state-run vaccination centre.
Outreach vaccination service
In addition to delivering pop ups for staff boosters, the Outreach Vaccination Team is busy this week with community pop ups in Moreland and inreach vaccination for acute mental health patients and young people with high care needs.
