The portables at SH have just set up “Supplies Surprise” box placed in the kitchen.
It’s a simple gesture which may not be used and/or staff may not need anything from the box. But hopefully the act of conveying a message care and community, will offer a sense of strength and hope through and beyond these challenging times.
Our casual cleaner Akuach was so grateful this morning that Neil could give her 2 rolls of toilet paper to take home to her young family. She’s starting at 6am every day and hasn’t been able to get any at the shops by the time she gets there in the afternoon, and he’s doing the shopping for his 90 year old neighbour across the road at the moment!
