Thank you to staff for feedback on some of the challenges you have been experiencing with the use of the Sunshine Multi-deck Car Park for members of the public visiting the COVID Vaccination Hub.
From Thursday 22 July 2021, car parking for public attending the Vaccination Hub will be provided within the adjoining Ace car park after a successful negotiation with the Ace car park operators.
A roadway linkage will be established between our two fence lines to allow visitors to the Vaccination Hub to enter via the main entrance off Furlong Road before being diverted into the Ace car park.
These changes will further reduce current congestion levels at the Majorca St intersection.
Please be aware that anyone who enters into the Ace property via this new fence line boom gate needs to present a Vaccination Hub parking voucher, otherwise they will be charged the full Ace car parking daily rate.
