Operations Bulletin – 19 April

April 19, 2022

My thanks again to those of you who worked over the Easter long weekend. To those of you who had time off over Easter, I hope you had an enjoyable and restful break.

Staff daily attestation no longer required

From today, Western Health staff, students, contractors and volunteers are no longer required to complete a daily attestation. However, I’d like to remind everyone that if you have symptoms or are required to isolate for any reason, you should not attend work. Patients and visitors will still be required to complete an online attestation before entering Western Health as per Victorian Government requirements.

Prayer and Reflection Rooms now open

The Prayer and Reflection Rooms at Footscray and Sunshine Hospitals are once again open to staff and patients, without needing to access keys via reception. When using the Prayer and Reflection Rooms, please be mindful that you must sign in and out, maintain your PPE including masks at all times and adhere to the maximum occupancy noted on the doors. More information can be found here.

Melton COVID Testing Clinic relocation

The Melton COVID Testing Clinic is relocating today from the Melton Community Health car park area to co-locate with the Melton Vaccination Hub at the old Bunnings site at 149 Barries Road, Melton. Testing will resume at this site from tomorrow (20 April).  The hours of operation will be 8.30am to 4pm.  A big thank you to both the Vaccination and Testing teams for their assistance in facilitating this move.

Regards

John
