Western Health has a dedicated COVID-19 Staff Enquiries Helpdesk to respond to staff enquiries related to COVID-19.
Staff can contact the Helpdesk directly with questions about onset of COVID-19 symptoms, exposures to COVID-19 in the community or home, testing criteria or clinic information. Managers can also contact the Helpdesk team to seek advice about COVID related matters impacting their staff. Please note, staff confidentiality will be maintained at all times.

Staff can contact the WH COVID-19 Staff Enquiries service by:
- Completing details via a survey accessible at this link or via the QR code below. Once the survey has been submitted you will receive an email with guidance relating to your particular situation.
- Emailing via the following email address: whscovid-19staffclinicenquiries@wh.org.au. Emails will be responded to within 24 hours (note – this time may vary during outbreaks)
- Telephone contact via Switch 8345 6666. Choose option 1 for COVID – then request Staff Enquiries Helpdesk.

The following information may answer many of your enquiries:
If you have Tested Positive to COVID (via either a RAT or PCR test):
- Do not attend work
- Inform your manager
- Please advise COVID Staff Enquiries and Western Health Contact Tracing via this link, particularly if you have worked on site at Western Health within 48 hours of testing positive.
- If you are unable to access the link, please email Western Health Contact Tracing- WHCOVIDContactTracing@wh.org.au . Include as much information as possible in your email about when you tested positive, your exposure, what shifts you have worked, PPE worn, what symptoms you have, and any contacts you may have generated at work.

If you have had an Exposure to COVID:
- Follow Vic Gov directives
- Complete a RAT immediately
- Return to work if you are asymptomatic and return a negative RAT

If you have returned from International Travel:
- You may return to work if you are asymptomatic.
- Please note – The Victorian Government strongly recommends undertaking a RAT or PCR test within 24 hours of arrival into Australia.
- You must undertake a PCR test or RAT if experiencing COVID symptoms within 7 days of arrival into Australia.

Current hours of operation:
8.45am – 4.45pm (staff testing available for symptomatic & asymptomatic staff)
Eligible staff can obtain RAT kits when attending.
Outside of clinic opening hours, rapid antigen tests will also be available for eligible asymptomatic staff from the Main Reception Desk:
- Monday – Friday 7am to 9am, and 5pm to 8pm
- Weekends & public holidays 8am to 9am, and 5pm to 8pm

Footscray Hospital
COVID PCR testing not available at Footscray site. Staff can access RATs via the main reception desk at Footscray Hospital.
Showgrounds Covid Testing Clinic
Open daily 8:00am – 5:00pm (last car entry subject to demand)
Sunbury Covid Testing Clinic
Testing available for adults and children of all ages
Open Monday to Friday 10:00am – 5:50pm (last entry subject to capacity)

Eligible asymptomatic staff can obtain RAT kits from the information desk at Sunbury Day Hospital in the following hours: 7:00am – 5:00pm Monday – Wednesday, 7:00am – 4:00pm Thursday and Friday and After hours from Dialysis
Melton Drive Through Clinic: New location – 149 Barries Road, Melton West
Open daily 8:30am to 4pm.
Eligible asymptomatic staff can obtain RAT kits from the IPC team during working hours and Urgent Care centre after hours
Williamstown Hospital – RAT availability
Eligible asymptomatic staff can obtain RAT kits from the information desk in the following hours:
7:30am – 8:00pm Monday – Friday
12:00pm – 8:00pm Saturday & Sunday
