Anyone who has arrived into Victoria from 30 December from the QLD LGA’s of Greater Brisbane, Moreton Bay, Redlands, Logan, Ipswich must get tested and quarantine at home until they receive a negative result. Previous advice had been for travellers to test if they had been in these QLD areas on or after 2 January 2021, however this public health advice has changed based on new information from QLD Health authorities regarding the B.1.1.7 lineage cluster in their hotel quarantine program.
Any staff returning from QLD who have already been tested and received a negative result do not need to be retested but should monitor for even the mildest symptoms.
