I am pleased to see a very high level of usage of this microsite by our staff and volunteers, with hundreds of visits to the site in the short time since it was launched.

I would like to remind you to check on the site frequently as Quick Reference Guides are being updated regularly in line with the rapidly evolving COVID – 19 situation and we want to make sure you are following the very latest evidence based information to keep you and our patients and visitors safe.
In order to be fully prepared in the event of an escalation of the COVID – 19 outbreak, Western Health’s Executive, with the support of CEO Russell Harrison, have commissioned a dedicated team to develop an organisation wide readiness plan. Nicole Davies (DONM) will be the project lead for this work alongside our Head of Unit for Infectious Diseases, Dr Marion Kainer. The third member of the team will be Maureen Canning, who is a senior Infection Prevention nurse.
The team will be in place as of today. Please provide all necessary support to them as they progress this important piece of work for Western Health and the communities we serve.
